In keeping with Mark Twain's "War Prayer," which pointed out the hypocrisy of many of our sweet sounding prayers in war, this is Tom Lehrer, who pointed out the hypocrisy of National Brotherhood week back in the sixties when racism was rampant and ugly.
Since hypocrisy in war and race seem to have a long shelf life, these two pieces need to be brought back now and then to make us laugh (and cry).
